West Port East Community Development District
The West Port East Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on December 10, 2024 by the Board of County Commissioners, Charlotte County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2024-01 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The West Port East CDD is located entirely within Manatee County, Florida and covers approximately 175.877 acres of land. The site is generally located south of Tamiami Trail, north of Ei Jobean Road and east of the West Port Community Development District.
The services provided by the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes.

The West Port East Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on December 10, 2024 by the Board of County Commissioners, Charlotte County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2024-01 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. Consent is hereby given to the District's Board of Supervisors to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses, and for security, all as authorized and described by Sections 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes (2023).
